Senior Policy Analyst
Mr Jarren Tam is Senior Policy Analyst at the Centre for Public Policy Studies (CPPS). Jarren was a recipient of the UK Government’s Chevening Scholarship to pursue a Masters of Arts (MA) in Public Policy at the University of Warwick. He also holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) in Economics from the University of Nottingham.
Prior to joining CPPS, Jarren worked in the civil service as the Perdana Fellow in the Deputy Prime Minister’s Office (DPMO) and the Assistant Officer for KPI in the Ministry of Domestic Trade, Co-operatives and Consumerism (MDTCC), primarily on policy-making, research and implementation. He had previously worked at CPPS in 2013/14 and has research interests in economic policy and behavioural economics which include but are not limited to consumer credit markets, consumption choices, household debt and the labour market.
