Zayd Shaukat Ali is a research analyst within the ASLI CPPS division which engages with International Trade and Foreign Policy. His research interests include international affairs and economics.

Zayd is a graduate from the University of New South Wales (UNSW) where he obtained a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in International Relations and International Business. Upon graduating, he was attached to YB Dr Ong Kian Ming’s office, the Deputy Minister of International Trade and Industry (MITI) for 6 months where he worked on the research, formulation and implementation of certain policies.
